This basic reactive shooting course introduces students to the principles and techniques of reactive shooting.  Students will learn to apply reactive shooting techniques to enhance their weapon handling skills, marksmanship and engagement speeds.

Techniques taught are specific to self-defense shooting tactics. This basic reactive shooting course is the foundation to high speed weapons training.   

Across the world, elite law enforcement agencies and special operation units in the military use reactive shooting to advance their operational readiness with their firearm.

Students will use the same shooting system used during our intermediate/advanced course.  Students will be able to practice their newly learn skills with challenging drills and  tests.  Instructors will monitor and track students progress to insure students train and excel to higher levels of performance.

Required Equipment:

1500 rounds of ammunition, Pistol with 4 magazines,    Magazine holder, Duty holster or secure forward drawing holster, Baseball style cap, Wrap around eye protection,    Ear protection, Gun cleaning supplies.          

Training with Optional Weapon

During the 3 day basic reactive shooting course students will have the option to earn a second certification in Basic Reactive Combat Shotgun.

Equipment Required:

12 or 20 gauge pump or auto style shotgun, sling, 150 rounds of #8 birdshot, rounds of #00 buck shot
