This
advanced course is designed for experienced tactical team members,
uniformed patrol officers, investigators and military personnel that
have already graduated from a basic operators course or holds a
current SMG certification from their agency and wishes to train to
advanced operating levels.
This course
begins with a brief review of shooting fundaments and weapons
handling procedures and will then proceed quickly to advance
shooting techniques. Students will learn how to use reactive
shooting techniques to accelerate their shooting abilities well
beyond their current skill level. Students will learn how to
properly track, identify and accurately engage moving threats at
realistic engagement speeds.
On the third
day of this course students will move off the shooting range and
into the premier, 1.6 million dollar shoot house to apply the skills
learned during the first two days. Students will learn how to
deploy their SMG during advanced entry and room clearing tactics.

While most
schools use only static targets, Final Option also uses our computer
controlled reactive shooting system. This system enables you to
engage reactive steel targets that will increase your threat
assessment, accuracy and engagement speeds to advance levels. With
specifically designed shooting drills and tests you will learn to
operate and manipulate your SMG under stress fire situations.
This course
is not for beginning SMG operators. Students will be subjected to
numerous shooting drills and tests to monitor their progress.
Upon
successful completion of this course students will receive a course
diploma and a certificate indicating their level of weapons
qualification. Students will have the opportunity to graduate from
1of 3 levels: Basic Operator, Intermediate Operator and Advance
Operator.
Required
Equipment:
2000 rounds
of ammo, Mp5/UMP/SMG style weapon, 4 SMG magazines, Handgun w/2
magazines, 200 rounds of handgun ammo if different from SMG,
Tactical or duty holster for handgun, Tactical vest or body armor,
Wrap around eye protection, Ear protection, Ballistic helmet,
Baseball style hat.
