The ADVANCED CONCEALED CARRY Course is now posted for May 1st
and 2nd, 2004. This course will once again be hosted at the DPMS
Training Center located in St. Cloud. This is a great class
to advance your defensive shooting skills. The optional "Low
light/no Light" training program will again be offered during this
course. |

hosting a 4 Day Urban Carbine Instructor Course on October
13th-16th. Course will be held at the U of M/FBI Shooting Facility

The 3 day "Urban Carbine Operators Course"
is now posted with limited openings! This course is designed to
develop proficiency and advanced weapons handing skills with a
carbine in a urban setting out to 100 yards. As requested by our
students, we have added more instruction time on
operational deploying of the carbine around vehicles, such as
deploying from patrol cars, high risk protection details and rescue
based operations. |

Most of the 20 seminar students
carry small black cases or satchels, big enough for a good lunch, as
they file in at 8 a.m.
Shoot. I forgot to bring a
lunch. Six hours!
"OK, how many of you are going to
have to rent a gun today?" instructor Steve Lecy asks. Four people,
those without "lunch boxes," raise hands.
Oh.
A man in front turns to scan the
room at Bill's Gun Shop & Range in Robbinsdale, looking into the
faces of a pilot, a retired police officer, a McDonald's manager and
an attorney, among others.
Who would think . . . ?
Well, that's part of it, isn't
it? The guy whose home is broken into, the woman who's mugged in a
parking garage -- they may be packing heat. Anybody in Minnesota
could be packing heat.
